I am Alyssa Meyer, a licensed clinical social worker, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor™ (RPT-S), certified EMDR therapist, EMDR consultant in training (CIT), and founder of Mighty Minds Therapy.
I believe that we all have the power to adapt, heal, and grow from our experiences.
I enjoy learning about neuroscience and how to incorporate what we know about the brain and body connection in my work with individuals and families.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I have extensive experience with the treatment of severe, sudden, and life altering trauma’s this has included but is not limited to child sexual abuse, victims of mass shootings, relationship ruptures, and traumatic grief and loss.
I offer a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to your individual needs. I am passionate about developing safety in our therapeutic relationship and believe this is the foundation of the therapeutic process.
I also provide consultation to support professionals all over the world. I enjoy coming along side other professionals in their journey and learning in tandem. In supervision, I incorporate training following evidenced based models, discuss and create professional development plans, grow your skills with case conceptualization and case consultation, and believe in offering person of the therapist experiences to guide supervisee’s in developing and enhancing their therapeutic skills.

I received my Bachelor of Science in psychology from Ball State University and my Masters in Social Work from Indiana University School of Social Work.
