Consultation Services
Alyssa’s consultation sessions are thoughtfully tailored to meet your unique needs. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, she offers a collaborative space for personal and professional growth. Sessions may be held weekly, monthly, or bimonthly.
Consultation may focus on trauma treatment, EMDR therapy, play therapy, case conceptualization, refining clinical skills, applying evidence-based approaches, navigating ethical considerations, and strengthening confidence in your clinical work. In many cases, consultation also includes discussion of complex cases, attachment concerns, dissociation, and working with children, teens, and families.
Overall, the goal of consultation is to help you build clarity, confidence, and support in your clinical practice while continuing to grow as a therapist.

EMDR Consultation
As an EMDR consultant, Alyssa offers EMDR consultation sessions that count toward EMDRIA certification. These sessions provide space for in-depth case discussion, skill refinement, support with challenging cases, and continued growth in applying EMDR therapy with confidence and integrity.
EMDR consultation may include case conceptualization, target sequencing, working with complex trauma, dissociation, blocked processing, integrating EMDR with play therapy, and adapting EMDR for children and adolescents. Whether you are working toward EMDR certification or looking to strengthen your EMDR practice, the goal remains the same. That goal is to help you deepen your expertise and feel more supported in your clinical work.

In addition, supervision may include discussion of trauma-informed play therapy, attachment, parent involvement, EMDR and play therapy integration, and complex work with children and families. It also includes participation in Association for Play Therapy–approved trainings as you continue building competence and confidence in your work.

“When we are with a traumatized child in a play therapy space, the story of what happened is already in the room. It is simply our job to learn how to read it.”
