Play Therapy & Trauma Treatment – Wheat Ridge, CO | Hybrid (In-Person & Telehealth)

Mighty Minds Therapy is seeking a mental health clinician to join our warm, trauma-informed group practice. We specialize in play therapy and trauma treatment for children, teens, adults, and families. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to provide both in-person sessions at our Wheat Ridge play therapy office and remote sessions via telehealth.

Whether you’re an experienced RPT or deepening your specialization in play therapy and trauma work, this role offers flexible hours, steady referrals, and a collaborative, supportive team.

  • Compensation: $55–$70/hour based on experience

  •  Location: Wheat Ridge, Colorado + Remote

  •  Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

  • Schedule: Flexible | Office Available

Who You Are

  • Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Colorado (LCSW, LSW)
  • 2+ years clinical experience
  • Registered Play Therapist (RPT), actively pursuing RPT, or extensive play therapy experience (consultation support available)
  • EMDR trained or eager to pursue training (consultation support available)
  • Comfortable building a caseload of 20+ clients/week
  • Available for a hybrid model of in-person (Wheat Ridge) and remote sessions
  • Trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and relationally oriented
  • Organized, communicative, open to feedback, and growth-minded

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience and knowledge in neuroscience-informed therapy
  • Interest in or experience working with parents and family systems
  • Familiarity with attachment-based, trauma-focused, or somatic modalities
  • Experience with telehealth services

What You’ll Do

  • Provide a mix of in-person sessions (flexible days) and remote sessions (flexible days)
  • Maintain timely documentation in ICAN Notes (progress notes, treatment plans, etc.)
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate openly with our team
